Mailbox is an extension of hotline protocol. This feature is currently only supported by HSX server (99/01/10 and later).

If you use this feature on a not compatible server, it won’t crash, you will just receive an ‚Unknown Transaction type‘ error message.

To send a mail to someone on the server, you must know its account name. Just put this name in the recipient field. Thus, fill the subject and content of your mail.

• Subject size is limited to 128 bytes. A longer one will be silently truncated.
• Content size is limite to 29KB.

Once all fields have been filled, just click on the send button. GHX will post your mail but don’t close the panel. If an error happens on the server while receiving your mail, you will have an error message as well as if the recipient account doesn’t exist.
